Rwenzori Trek Part 1: Into Rainforest, Bamboo and Deep Mud
We begin our 8-day journey into Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains, aiming for the summit of Margherita Peak at 5,109 meters. This first episode takes us from the village of Kilembe (next to Kasese) through rainforest, bamboo groves, and cloud forest, all the way to Margherita Base Camp. Along the way: We’ll reach the summit in the next episode, stay tuned for the final ascent to Margherita Peak!
